300 experts and representatives from the central and local agencies, and private sector and non-governmental organizations attended the conference. The participants discussed about practical solutions to solve the challenges that Vietnam faces such as agricultural, urban and rural water resources in the context that the need for access to water resources and water resources allocation and water services is increasing.

WB Country Director in Vietnam Victoria KwaKwa suggested Vietnam should increase its capacity to resist climate change impacts, and have a comprehensive system to manage water resources. She confirmed that WB will continue its support for Vietnam in water management and modernizing irrigation systems and agricultural infrastructure.

On its side, Israel representative Ms. Meirav Eilon Shahar shared its experience in the field of innovation and development as well asmanagement of water resources.

At the conference, representatives of the Israel’s leading companies in the water treatment such as Hagihon, Netafim also shared their experience, technology and solutions for agricultural water.
